Rainbow Over the Great Plains

I don't know why anybody gets killed by a tornado out here. The horizon is so vast you can see storms (in our case some showers) coming from miles away. You could go to CVS, get supplies, and still have time to get back home and get in your basement. I took the rainbow as a good omen for my trip, even though it was three days in.

The railroads are starting to build track the way modelers do. Here's a "turnout" on a gondola waiting for installation.
