Crossing the Mississippi

La Crosse, WI as we cross the Mississippi entering Minnesota -- our 8th state by my count. A beautiful day here in the Midwest. Overnight we traverse Minnesota and much of North Dakota. I'm going to miss it.

I figured out that by simple request they will bring you dinner in your room, thus obviating the need to sit with strangers. I took advantage of that tonight, as well as the first of two bottles of wine brought on board.
