Midwest
Fly-over country, they call it. But some of it is quite pretty in the morning light.
Most of the morning was traversing Indiana. Lots of farms, some industry. As we got closer to Chicago the industry took over.
The "Rust Belt" doesn't look too rusty -- the factories I saw seemed to be in full gear (with lots of trains around them bringing in coke and taking out steel.)
